Brighton Tyre & Auto Is Repco Authorised Car Service Dealer of the Year 2011

 

At a glittering awards ceremony held at the Four Seasons Sydney on Saturday 17th September, Brighton Tyre & Auto from Brighton, Tasmania took out the prestigious Repco Authorised Car Service Dealer of The Year Award for 2011.

This fiercely contested award recognises the business that best represents the network’s ideals for 2011 within the proudly independent Repco Authorised Car Service network, with previous winners continuing to achieve outstanding levels of excellence across all facets of their business.

Brighton Tyre and Auto Centre wins dealer of year award Mr. David Lyall nominated the team at Brighton Tyre & Auto and for good reasons: “Starting in early 2002, proprietors Tim and Kellie set out to make their business stand out and aimed to provide the best possible customer service and quality of workmanship. They set their standards high and joined the Repco Authorised Car Service network in 2004, seeing this as an opportunity to further improve the service to their existing clients and potential new customers. Tim and Kellie knew the resources offered by membership of the RAS network would help them best meet the needs of their customers and establish their business as viable alternative to the franchised dealers.”

Ensuring their entire mechanic team is professionally trained and equipped to do the best possible work is very important to Tim and Kellie. In addition to regular Repco Auto Tech workshops, they invest considerable time and money to ensure their business is always at the leading edge. It is their total all round commitment to ensuring their car service workshop is the best it can be which earns Tim and Kellie of Brighton Tyre and Auto Centre the RAS Dealer of the Year 2011 Award.

Brighton Tyre & Auto manager Kellie Mazey says: “We were initially so shocked to win - looking at the calibre of other finalists, we didn’t think we stood a chance. Now, having had some time to reflect on the award, we can look at our achievements with pride. Changes and investments we made to improve our car service and train our technicians have paid off - not only with being awarded Repco Authorised Car Service Dealer of the Year 2011, but personally as well. Having taken a lot of time and work, our business now is stronger and runs more smoothly, allows us to work on the business, rather than in it. We are evaluating potential opportunities constantly and carefully to grow the business even further.”

Tim Mazey adds: “What makes this award so special is the fact that a panel of our peers have voted for us. As a standalone independent mechanical workshop, to win this level of award is amazing. We have to thank our Business Development Manager David Lyall, our Regional Manager David Mathewson and the entire RAS management team for the support that they give us - it is simply outstanding. We would not have been able to achieve this without our team. This award belongs in no small part to them and their dedication to achieving our vision for Brighton Tyre & Auto.”

2010 Award winners Michelle and Andrew Temby of Temby Automotive paid tribute to Brighton Tyre & Auto. “What a deserving win!” said Andrew. “Michelle and I know how much time and hard work goes in to bringing a business up to this level. We are sure that Tim and Kellie will continue to work hard and improve on an already amazing car service workshop.”
